Our programs are fully chartered with the Boy Scouts of America and Girls Scouts of America. All families in the community are invited to participate. To get more information, speak with the leaders at the appointed meeting times.
The Cub Scout Pack is for boys from first grade through fifth grade. Age group 6-8 meets on Fridays at 7:00pm. Age group 9-11 meets Fridays at 7:30pm. Annual Cub Scout activities include: an overnight football trip to West Point; Halloween Party; Pinewood Derby Racing; Blue & Gold Dinner; Model Regatta Racing; and a number of camping trips. The Cubmaster is John Engler.
The Boy Scout Troop is for boys from sixth grade (or 11 years) through 18 years of age. The Troop meets at on Fridays at 7:30pm. Annual activities include: Summer Camp at Ten Mile River; Winter Kondike Race; Merit Badge Rallies; and a number of camping trips and service projects. The Scoutmaster is Richard Pignatelli.
The Girl Scout Troop includes the Daisies for girls ages 5-6, Kindergarten-First grade. They meet first and third Tuesdays of the month at 4:00pm. They are led by Lindsay Clemente and Nancy Jones.
The Brownies, led by Pam Garcia, is for ages 7-8, Second-Third grade. They meet first and second Saturdays of the month at noon.
And the Juniors, also led by Pam Garcia, is for ages 9-10, Fourth-Fifth grade. They meet on first and second Saturdays of the month at 1:15pm. Activities have included: Memorial Day Parade; Arts and Crafts; Merit Badges; and of course, Girl Scout Cookies!
