Saint Barnabas Church
A Congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
From our humble beginnings at a local firehouse in November, 1922, to our vibrant life today, Saint Barnabas Church has found its heart in the weekly service of God in worship. Gathered here around the Word and Sacraments of Jesus Christ, generations of people have been strengthened and blessed for the challenges and opportunities of life. And from this heart of worship, we have discovered countless ways to put our faith in service to our family, friends and neighbors.
Valuing the rich treasures of Christian tradition, crossing the threshold of the third millennium of Christian witness, we express today in our worship, teaching and fellowship, the faith first delivered to the Apostles by Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Rev. William Eric Baum served as pastor of the congregation from 1992 through his retirement in 2021. Johan Vizcaino is the organist. Saint Barnabas Church is a congregation of the 4 million-member Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
